On the night of July 19 (starting at 7:30 p.m. on July 18), the Russian forces launched 379 aerial attacks, including:
- 344 strike UAVs, including Shahed-type drones and various types of decoy drones from directions including Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia (approx. 200 were Shaheds);
- 12 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles (launched from Voronezh, Kursk, Rostov regions of Russia and occupied Crimea);
- 8 Iskander-K cruise missiles (launched from the Millerovo area, Russia);
- 15 Kh-101 cruise missiles (from the airspace over Saratov region, Russia).
Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled the aerial assault using aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare (EW) systems, drone units, and mobile fire teams.
As of 10:00 a.m., preliminary data shows that 208 aerial targets were destroyed by air defense:
- 185 Shahed-type strike UAVs;
- 7 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles;
- 7 Iskander-K cruise missiles;
- 9 Kh-101 cruise missiles.
Also, 7 cruise missiles and 129 decoy drones failed to reach their targets, being either disoriented or suppressed by EW systems.
Confirmed impacts:
- 5 missiles and 30 Shahed drones struck 12 locations.
- Debris from intercepted aerial objects fell in 7 locations.
