Seven people were injured in the Odessa region as a result of a massive combined Russian attack overnight on September 17.
Oleh Kiper, head of the Odessa Regional State Administration, reported this on Telegram.
“The Odessa region was under a massive combined Russian attack for almost the entire night. Seven people were injured, including two children aged four and 13,” Kiper said.
One Russian drone struck a multi-storey residential building in Odessa. Ten apartments on the 14th to 16th floors were destroyed, and 11 vehicles were damaged. Three people were injured, including a four-year-old child.
An emergency response centre has been established at the site, and residents are receiving all necessary assistance.
Other strikes damaged at least five private houses, a kindergarten, a dormitory, a restaurant’s outdoor terrace, warehouses and garages, as well as cars.
Four more people were injured, including an elderly woman and a 13-year-old child.
Emergency and rescue operations are continuing at the sites of the strikes. Rescue workers, medical teams, municipal services and law enforcement officers are working at the scene. Efforts to deal with the consequences of the attack are ongoing, Kiper said.
