The loan portfolio of international financial service NovaPay, part of the Nova group, has reached UAH 2.6 billion, up from UAH 2 billion as of 18 February this year, the company said in a statement.
Credit cards have become NovaPay’s largest lending product by portfolio volume. Since February, the credit card portfolio has grown by 61.3% to UAH 1 billion, while instalment loans increased by just 11% to UAH 925 million.
The portfolio of the “Parcel on Credit” service declined by 29% to UAH 206 million. The remainder consists of loans to entrepreneurs, including financing for e-commerce businesses and partners of the NOVA group of companies.
According to NovaPay, around 50,000 new customers have used its lending products over the past 12 months.
“About 140,000 customers have used NovaPay lending products since they were launched. At the same time, 40% of active borrowers use two or more lending products, while around 42% of customers take out loans repeatedly,” NovaPay Credit CEO Bohdan Hryvko said.
The financial service said the average consumer loan amounts to UAH 5,000, while the average credit card limit is UAH 27,500. The average loan for individual entrepreneurs operating in e-commerce is UAH 422,000.
NovaPay was founded in 2001 as an international financial service and is part of the Nova group, which includes Nova Poshta. It provides financial services online and offline through Nova Poshta branches.
In 2023, NovaPay became the first non-bank financial institution in Ukraine to receive an expanded licence from the National Bank of Ukraine, allowing it to open accounts and issue payment cards. At the end of last year, it also became the first non-bank institution to launch its own financial app offering a broad range of financial services.
NovaPay Credit increased its net profit 3.2-fold year-on-year in the first half of 2026 to UAH 172.01 million, while revenue rose 2.2-fold to UAH 586.42 million.
The company’s equity stood at UAH 688.5 million at the end of June, compared with UAH 516.5 million at the beginning of the year, while liabilities increased to UAH 1.69 billion from UAH 1.37 billion.
