Ukrainian logistics operator Nova Post has expanded its international network and entered the Canadian market, making Canada the 18th country where the company operates. Customers can now send and receive documents and parcels weighing up to 30 kg between Ukraine and Canada, with delivery times starting from five days, the company’s press service reported.

Shipments from Canada can be arranged online through the Nova Post website or mobile app, while parcels can be handed over to a courier or dropped off at one of 1,100 partner UPS Store locations.

The cost of delivery from Canada to Ukraine depends on weight. Documents and light parcels weighing up to 1 kg cost CAD 37, parcels up to 2 kg cost CAD 47, shipments up to 10 kg cost CAD 99, while parcels weighing up to the maximum limit of 30 kg cost CAD 215.

Ukrainian businesses can also export goods to Canada without paying import duties under the Canada–Ukraine Free Trade Agreement (CUFTA). For most shipments, only the HST sales tax applies, while parcels valued at up to CAD 20 (UAH 625) are exempt from taxation.

Nova Post said the new route is already seeing strong demand from customers.

“Thanks to our large diaspora and strong demand for international delivery, we have already processed more than 3,000 shipments, most of which were goods from Ukrainian manufacturers,” the company said.
