Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported an increase in the effectiveness of Ukrainian drone operations: in April, over 83,000 Russian targets were hit and destroyed, which is an 8% increase compared to the previous month.
"In April, the UAV units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces achieved excellent results in enemy destruction. According to the command of the UAV Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, during the month, our drones hit and destroyed over 83,000 targets – 8% more than in March. The effectiveness of hits has increased by another 5%," Syrskyi said.
"I am grateful to our warriors for their effectiveness. However, the current high-tech war requires constant forward movement, even higher efficiency, and scaling up efforts in the drone sector."
The Commander-in-Chief reported that he held the traditional monthly meeting on UAV issues, involving a wide range of UAV unit commanders.
It was again emphasized that the UAV sector is a priority, as it allows for holding back the Russian forces and destroying it at a distance, preserving the lives and health of infantry.
Syrskyi also heard a report from J2 about the formation of UAV troops in Russia, the development of unmanned units in various branches of the military, and new Russian UAVs and ground robotic complexes.
