In 2025, Ukrainian notaries processed 366.7 thousand real estate contracts, which is 9.8% less than the previous year, according to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
According to the Ministry of Justice, compared to 2024, notaries in 2025 registered 15% more purchase and sale agreements for apartments and houses (205.2 thousand contracts), 44.8% more for estates (320 contracts), and 18% more for other real estate (42.8 thousand contracts).
At the same time, last year notaries processed 2.2 thousand property exchange agreements, 12.5% fewer than in 2024; 108.6 thousand donation agreements, 39.5% fewer than in 2024; 2 thousand lifetime maintenance agreements (-1.5%); 261 gift agreements (-6.8%); and 5 thousand other alienation contracts (-31.9%). Notaries also processed four rent contracts, the same as in 2024.
Additionally, in 2025 notaries registered 396 agreements for real estate management, which is 8.7% fewer than in 2024.
The Ministry specified that notaries certified 394.1 thousand land plot alienation agreements in 2025, a slight increase of 0.22% compared to 2024.
