Serhiy 'Flash' Beskrestnov: Main technological problems of Ukraine in the war

I am looking at things very soberly and see that, in addition to positive news about the war against Russia, there are also a huge number of technological problems.

I will try to name the main ones:

We do not have a serial and mass-produced solution against GABs (guided bombs). It is the GABs that cause us many problems on the front lines.

The enemy is increasing the use of mesh modems for reconnaissance and real-time strikes with “Shahed” and “Gerbera” drones. We are moving unacceptably slowly in developing electronic warfare systems to counter mesh.

There is a huge problem with drone attacks on frontline areas. Not only villages are suffering, but also Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Sumy. We need warning systems and systematic measures to counter drones.

I would like to see more tactical radars so that the precise radar field is denser and larger. Without this, interceptor systems do not work.

We still do not have our own ballistic missile. It could radically change the course of the war.

There are no mass-produced EW solutions for drone video links. The enemy is ahead of us here both in development and in practical experience. Such EW would help protect frontline areas from drones.

There are no proven solutions to protect medium-range strike drones and bombers from enemy anti-drone systems. If we do not create them, it will soon become very difficult to operate.

There is no systematic technological approach to detecting and destroying enemy tactical radars. These are the enemy’s “eyes on the front in the sky.”

Developments and solutions in alternative navigation for deep-strike systems are needed.

This is what I can publicly state.
