At least 6 killed as Russian attacks hit multiple Ukrainian regions

Russian forces carried out widespread attacks across Ukraine over the past day, killing at least six people and injuring dozens. Port infrastructure, residential buildings and businesses were among the targets.

In Odessa region, Russian forces attacked the Izmail district overnight on August 13, damaging port infrastructure and causing a fire. Emergency services responded at the site.

In Mykolaiv region, a Shahed drone attack damaged a civilian vessel at port infrastructure in Mykolaiv district. No casualties were reported. Russian forces also launched five Molniya drone attacks on the Snihurivka community, damaging a house and an outbuilding in Tamaryne.

Kherson region recorded the highest number of casualties. Three people were killed and 19 injured as Russian forces used aircraft, drones and artillery against Kherson and other communities. Six apartment buildings, 40 private houses, a gas pipeline, vehicles and other property were damaged.

In Zaporizhzhia region, one person was killed and three injured. Russian forces carried out 962 attacks on 52 settlements, including 19 air strikes, 698 drone attacks and 245 artillery strikes. Authorities received 51 reports of damage to homes, vehicles and infrastructure.

In Sumy region, seven people were injured as Russia carried out 50 attacks on 19 settlements. Russian forces used guided bombs, drones, artillery and mortars, damaging homes, shops, vehicles and other civilian infrastructure.

 

 

In Dnipropetrovsk region, five people were injured in more than 10 Russian drone and artillery attacks. Three were wounded in Kamianske district, including a 34-year-old man hospitalized in serious condition. Two other men were injured in Nikopol district.

In Donetsk region, two people were killed in Kramatorsk and seven others were injured across the region, including in Druzhkivka, Sloviansk, Malotaranivka, Semenivka and Iverske.

In Kharkiv region, a 36-year-old woman was killed in Tsyrkuny and four people were injured in Balakliia during attacks on August 12. Early on August 13, Russian jet-powered drones struck Verbivka in Izium district, injuring another five civilians and damaging a private house and a non-residential building.

 

 

In Chernihiv region, Russian drones struck several locations in Chernihiv overnight and on the morning of August 13, hitting garage cooperatives and businesses. A separate attack on Horodnia damaged homes and injured a 10-year-old girl, while another drone struck a petrol station in the Ripky community.
