Serhiy "Flash" Beskrestnov, Adviser to the President of Ukraine on the development of defense technologies, said that there is almost no active movement along the front line and that the war has entered a phase of attrition, during which Ukraine and Russia are striking each other’s infrastructure.

"The front lines are barely moving. But now another war is underway — a war of attrition. We are destroying Russia’s infrastructure, and they are destroying ours," Beskrestnov said.

According to him, the current war, like all wars, will end sooner or later, but its consequences will be severe for both countries.

"There will be no winner. Both countries will emerge from the war with devastated economies and infrastructure and heavy human losses," the Ukrainian presidential adviser stressed.

Beskrestnov also noted that Ukraine is calling on Russia to cease hostilities, but these calls remain unanswered.
