The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the inclusion of the “BUKOVINA 1” industrial park in the Register of Industrial (Manufacturing) Parks. This is the first facility to receive official status in 2026. The project is expected to create around 250 new jobs within the park and stimulate the growth of related small businesses in the region.

The industrial park is located in the Kelmentsi community of the Dnistrovskyi district in Chernivtsi region. The initiative was launched by MM AGRO LLC. The park covers 18.0141 hectares and is planned to operate for 49 years.

Planned activities at “BUKOVINA 1” include:

  • Advanced agro-processing: production of oil, flour and cereals, starches, and ready-made animal feed.
  • Food industry: processing of fruits and vegetables, production of natural juices.
  • Energy efficiency: development of alternative energy to meet production needs.

The total investment in the project is estimated at UAH 698.3 million. A key advantage of the park is its logistical location, close to a railway hub and the state border with EU countries, offering broad opportunities for export-oriented companies.

“Including ‘BUKOVINA 1’ in the Register is an important step to strengthen the industrial potential of Chernivtsi region. With its logistical advantages and focus on advanced processing, the site has strong prospects to become part of a major agro-industrial cluster in the region. State policy aims to support projects that generate high value-added products and develop domestic production,” said Vitalii Kindrativ, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine.

The park’s concept is based on principles of sustainable development and the circular economy. It envisions the implementation of innovative technologies to minimize environmental impact and the use of energy-efficient systems in line with modern European industrial standards.

Industrial parks are an integral part of Ukraine’s “Made in Ukraine” investment strategy to support domestic manufacturers.
