Investments and grants for Ukrainian tech companies reached $498 million in 2025, showing an 8% increase compared to 2024.

This is reported in the AVenture Dealbook.

About 46% of these investments were late-stage (Series D and Growth), aimed at scaling and expanding already successful companies.

Early-stage investments (Seed, Series A) accounted for 38.5% of the total, or $191 million. This figure is nearly a record in Ukrainian history, approaching the $258 million invested in 2021.

The leading company by capital raised was Preply, which recently achieved “unicorn” status after securing an additional $150 million in a Series D round.

Other notable leaders include monobank, Fintech Farm, Holywater, Headway Inc., and Swarmer. Together with Preply, they account for over 55% of the entire venture market.

AI startups raised 2.8 times more capital than companies without AI components. Their share was 74.4%, while non-AI startups held only 25.6% of the market.
