The startup NORDA Dynamics, which specializes in the development of autonomous UAV control technologies in conditions of electronic warfare (EW) and unstable or absent communication, has announced raising $150,000 in investment from the Angel One fund.
In a press release, Angel One noted that the investment was provided within a syndication agreement and is aimed at scaling the company’s key products.
“At NORDA Dynamics, we create technologies that give drones new capabilities — our autonomous systems allow for executing complex, precise missions in wartime conditions quickly, efficiently, and safely for the operator. The investment from Angel One Fund is not just financial support but also an opportunity to accelerate the scaling of our solutions on the front line and enhance their combat effectiveness in real time,” said NORDA Dynamics CEO Nazar Bihun.
NORDA Dynamics is a Ukrainian deeptech company founded by volunteers with more than 10 years of experience supporting the military, developing software for autonomous drones. They have a team of engineers with unique expertise in robotics, artificial intelligence, and military technologies.
The startup’s main product is the "last mile" targeting system Underdog, which enables new possibilities for precision strikes when traditional targeting methods are ineffective or impossible due to EW interference or range limitations. The Underdog system uses computer vision and artificial intelligence to allow UAVs to autonomously complete the final stage of their mission. After the pilot selects a target using the drone’s camera, the UAV independently covers the remaining distance.
NORDA Dynamics is also developing StableLink — an advanced visual course-holding system that ensures stability in altitude, azimuth, and coordinates. This technology is crucial for relay and bomber drones, allowing them to operate with maximum precision in dynamic combat environments.
Angel One reminded that last year they invested in seven startups in the field of defense and dual-use technologies through syndication agreements, and NORDA Dynamics became the fund’s eighth investment.
