Ukraine's State Special Transport Service has constructed more than 1,184 kilometers of anti-drone protection along key logistics routes since the beginning of 2026 as part of a project commissioned by the Ministry of Defense.

In frontline regions during July alone, the service:

  • Built 215 kilometers of new anti-drone protection;
  • Restored 16.52 kilometers of existing protective structures;
  • Repaired nearly 112.7 kilometers of roads.

Since road restoration work began in April, crews have carried out routine repairs and maintenance on more than 424.9 kilometers of roads.

Work is currently underway on 21 sections, while another 25 sections have already been completed.

According to the State Special Transport Service, every kilometer of protected roadway helps safeguard Ukrainian troops, preserve military equipment, and improve the ability of Defense Forces units to carry out combat missions.

The agency said it will continue strengthening the logistical resilience of Ukraine's Defense Forces and developing new measures to protect personnel from modern battlefield threats.
