Liechtenstein is joining the Enlarged Partial Agreement on the establishment of a Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine.

This was announced by Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha on the social network X.

“We have just received confirmation of Liechtenstein’s intent to join the Enlarged Partial Agreement for the launch of the Special Tribunal. This brings the total count to 25 states. I am grateful to Liechtenstein for its continued commitment to accountability, international law, and justice,” the foreign minister said.

He added that the relevant agreement will be adopted on May 14–15 at the meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in Moldova.

Sybiha also called on all states, both in Europe and beyond, to join these efforts to ensure accountability, which will, for the first time since the Nuremberg Trials, deliver justice for the crime of aggression.
