In April, the Russian forces used nearly 7,000 guided aerial bombs against the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this is the second-highest monthly number of guided aerial bombs since the start of the full-scale invasion. The highest figure was recorded in March — 7,987.

At the same time, the intensity of combat operations remains high — 5,085 clashes occurred on the front line during the month. On multiple occasions, the number of clashes per day exceeded 200, including April 26, when 241 were recorded. Even on Easter, during the so-called “ceasefire,” more than 100 clashes were documented.

Compared to previous months, the number of artillery shellings slightly decreased. In April, just over 96,000 shellings were recorded, including 2,322 from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
