Ukrainian design studio ZEMNA has unveiled its new VITER collection, a line of sculptural furniture inspired by the elemental force of wind. The collection seeks to bring a sense of freedom, movement, and open space into everyday interiors.
“VITER tells the story of an element that embodies freedom. The wind, without boundaries, becomes a metaphor for a person returning to their nature: wild, strong, alive,” said designer Tetiana Krasutska.

The collection includes a chair, bed, bench, and a sculptural sofa, which serves as the centerpiece. Its form, reminiscent of horns, evokes an archaic and primal aesthetic, linking the untamed energy of nature with a timeless sense of presence.
Each piece is designed with dynamic silhouettes that change depending on the viewer’s perspective and the light, reflecting different states within a single form.
“The contours of the objects read like traces left by a gust of wind—the silence that follows after motion,” Krasutska explained.

The VITER collection was photographed within the historic XVII-century Potocki Palace in Ivano-Frankivsk, with designers using the architectural backdrop to accentuate the feeling of a fresh wind frozen in time.
For ZEMNA, the concept of freedom is central to all their work. At the heart of their designs is the idea of a “sacred core”—the most vulnerable and genuine part of a person, where sensitivity and instinct are transformed into strength.

Through VITER, ZEMNA continues to explore elemental forms and archaic symbols, offering interiors that are not only functional but also imbued with energy, emotion, and the raw beauty of nature.
