Qatari firm X2 Ventures has taken a strategic stake in Deus Robotics, a Ukrainian company providing an integrated AI-powered platform for warehouse, logistics, and retail automation. The investment was unveiled at Web Summit Qatar 2026, marking a notable example of growing technology collaboration between Qatar and Europe.

Deus Robotics offers a unified platform that connects and manages robotic fleets from multiple manufacturers, alongside its own AI-driven autonomous robots. The system is designed to boost efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in fulfillment operations, and the company has already deployed its solutions with European postal operators, while expanding in the US.

Hamad Mubarak al-Hajri, founder of Snoonu Group and CEO of International Markets at Jahez, highlighted the alignment between the company’s scalable technology and the Gulf’s increasing demand for automation in logistics and retail.

“Deus Robotics solves real operational challenges and has proven commercial traction,” he said.

Hamad Mubarak al-Hajri, Lead investor at X2 Ventures, announcing the company’s strategic investment in Deus Robotics at Web Summit Qatar 2026, while Daria Revina, co-founder and vice-chair of the Qatar-Ukraine Business Forum (QUBF), looks on.

Daria Revina, co-founder of the Qatar-Ukraine Business Forum, noted that the deal exemplifies the Forum’s role in connecting high-growth Ukrainian tech companies with investors in Qatar and the wider Gulf. She emphasized that automation solutions are increasingly relevant to GCC markets, where reliance on imported labor makes operational efficiency a priority.

Commenting on the partnership, Paul Pikulin, CEO and co-founder of Deus Robotics, said:

“We are excited to work with Hamad Mubarak al-Hajri and X2 Ventures to bring our proven market traction to Qatar and GCC countries, where the demand for robotic logistics automation continues to accelerate.”

The investment is seen as part of Qatar’s broader effort to embrace frontier technologies and strengthen international innovation partnerships, while showcasing Ukraine’s engineering and entrepreneurial capabilities.
