Ukrainian window and door manufacturer EKIPAZH plans to build a fourth production facility in the Odessa region as part of its development strategy for 2026–2031, aiming to become the country's largest manufacturer and significantly expand its presence in European markets.

The company, currently ranked among Ukraine's top three producers of PVC and aluminium windows and doors, intends to increase its domestic market share from 9–10% to 16% by 2031, according to CEO and co-owner Serhii Teplytskyi.

"We have set ourselves an ambitious goal of becoming Ukraine's number one manufacturer while confidently expanding into European Union markets," Teplytskyi said. To achieve this, the company plans to invest UAH 150 million annually in production development and new technologies, including tempered and laminated glass manufacturing, seamless welding of laminated profiles, sliding systems, and new aluminium profile solutions.

The planned factory in the Odessa region will become EKIPAZH's fourth manufacturing site. The company is currently looking for a plot of at least five hectares with access to at least 1 MW of electrical capacity. The new facility is expected to produce around 25,000 window units per month, with room for future expansion.

The project will require investments of approximately UAH 600–700 million, financed through a combination of the company's own resources and bank loans. EKIPAZH also expects to use Ukraine's state-backed "5-7-9" affordable lending programme, with which it already has positive experience.

Despite a significant contraction in Ukraine's window market since the start of the full-scale war—from 5.2 million windows sold in 2021 to around 3.5 million last year—the company reported 28% sales growth in 2026. According to EKIPAZH, the increase was driven by investments in advanced technologies, a stronger focus on higher-end customers, and the expansion of exports.

EKIPAZH began exporting in 2023 and generated approximately EUR 2 million in export revenue in 2025. Today, the company supplies products to more than 20 countries, with regular weekly deliveries to Italy, Spain, Lithuania and the United States. Its export network also includes Germany, France, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, the Baltic states, Slovenia, Croatia, Moldova and the United Arab Emirates.

The company expects exports to become a larger source of revenue than domestic sales in the coming years while continuing to strengthen its own brand and expand production of aluminium systems, tempered glass and laminated glazing products.

EKIPAZH currently operates three manufacturing plants located in Zlatopil in the Kharkiv region, Khmelnytskyi and Brovary in the Kyiv region, with a combined production area of 72,000 square metres. Together with its dedicated insulated glass facility, the company operates 21 production lines capable of manufacturing up to 120,000 window and door units per month.

In 2025, EKIPAZH produced 365,000 window and door units, a 4.3% increase compared with the previous year, accounting for roughly 10% of all windows manufactured in Ukraine, according to company data.

Between 2013 and 2026, the company invested UAH 874 million in fixed assets and approximately UAH 27 million in production equipment. It has also invested heavily in energy independence, installing rooftop solar power systems with a combined capacity of around 1 MW and planning to double that capacity. In addition, EKIPAZH has prepared plans for a cogeneration plant with an estimated investment of more than USD 1 million.
