During January, the Russian Federation used more than 6,000 attack drones, around 5,500 guided aerial bombs, and 158 missiles of various types against Ukraine.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on Facebook:
“In many regions of Ukraine, repair work is ongoing to restore critical infrastructure. In January alone, Russia launched over 6,000 attack drones, about 5,500 guided aerial bombs, and 158 missiles of various types against us. Almost all of this targeted our energy systems, railways, infrastructure—everything that supports normal life.”
The President noted that attacks are continuing.
“Over the past week, Russia used more than 980 attack drones, nearly 1,100 guided aerial bombs, and two missiles against Ukraine.”

“We are observing Russian attempts to disrupt logistics and transport connections between cities and communities. That is why the need for air defense remains. Missiles for Patriot, NASAMS, F-16, and other platforms are needed every day,” Zelensky emphasized.
The head of state also thanked all partners who understand this and provide support.
