Russian forces carried out a new wave of large-scale attacks across Ukraine over the past 24 hours, striking dozens of settlements and injuring civilians in several regions, local authorities reported.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian forces launched 1,121 strikes on 43 areas. Two men, aged 40 and 77, were wounded in the Zaporizhzhia district, according to regional governor Ivan Fedorov.

The attacks included 25 airstrikes on multiple frontline towns, as well as 853 drones—mostly FPV types—targeting both urban and rural locations. In addition, Russian forces carried out five multiple-launch rocket system strikes and 238 artillery attacks across the region. Authorities received 78 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure.

In the Kharkiv region, 18 settlements came under fire. Two civilians were reported injured, regional head Oleh Syniehubov said. A 46-year-old man suffered an acute stress reaction in Velykyi Burluk, while a 50-year-old woman was injured in the village of Vyshnivka.

Russian forces used a combination of drones, including Geran-2, Lancet, Molniya, and FPV systems, alongside other unmanned aerial vehicles. Civilian infrastructure was damaged across several districts, including businesses, educational facilities, homes, power lines, and vehicles.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, more than 30 attacks were recorded in the Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol, and Synelnykove districts. Two men, aged 23 and 55, were injured, regional authorities said. Strikes damaged apartment buildings, private homes, businesses, and infrastructure, with fires reported in residential areas.

In the eastern city of Sloviansk, three people—including a 12-year-old girl—were injured in an overnight airstrike involving two FAB-250 bombs, said city military administration head Vadym Liakh. At least 22 private homes and three vehicles were damaged.

Further south, in the Kherson region, five people were wounded amid sustained drone, авиация, and artillery attacks, according to regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin. Dozens of settlements were affected, with damage reported to residential buildings, administrative facilities, and vehicles.

In the Sumy region, Russian strikes on March 30 left 16 people injured, including a child, the National Police reported. The heaviest impact was recorded in the Hlukhiv community, where residential buildings, public institutions, and vehicles were damaged. Additional destruction was reported across several other communities, affecting homes, infrastructure, and utilities.

Meanwhile, in the Donetsk region, six civilians were wounded over the past day, according to regional governor Vadym Filashkin. The injured included residents of Sloviansk, Dobropillia, and Druzhkivka. Authorities noted that overall casualty figures for the region do not include data from occupied Mariupol and Volnovakha.

In the city of Odessa, a Russian drone struck a residential building on the morning of March 31, hitting a third-floor balcony. A 50-year-old man sustained a cut to his forearm. The attack caused damage to the building’s facade and balconies and sparked a fire, which was quickly extinguished.

In Poltava, a nighttime strike killed one person and injured four others, including two children. Emergency services reported significant damage to a multi-story residential building, including the collapse of upper-floor structures. Additional hits were recorded at an industrial facility and in open areas, where fires were later contained.

Ukrainian emergency services, police, and bomb disposal teams continue to work at the sites of attacks, documenting damage and assisting affected residents.
