Russian forces launched a drone attack on the Odessa district on the afternoon of August 5, according to Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
Kiper said the strike ignited a fire involving vehicles at one of the district's enterprises.
"According to preliminary information, one person was killed. Eight others were injured, seven of whom have been hospitalized," he said in a post on Telegram.
