Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, discussed options and prospects for further actions with unit commanders in the Southern Operational Zone and emphasized that maintaining operational security is crucial for a successful operation.

This was reported on the Commander-in-Chief’s Facebook page.

According to Syrskyi, he spent the day working in the Southern Operational Zone, where active combat operations are ongoing. He met with the leadership of the offensive group as well as brigade, regiment, and battalion commanders conducting attacks. He received reports on the results of previous missions, the current situation, and actions in designated sectors.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding designated lines, destroying Russian forces, gradually advancing, and engaging in battles to liberate settlements, the Commander-in-Chief stressed.

On site, Syrskyi issued orders to address problematic issues and discussed options and prospects for further actions.

“Our priorities are the liberation of Ukrainian territory from the occupiers and the preservation of our soldiers’ lives. At the same time, maintaining operational security is crucial for the success of the operation,” emphasized the Commander-in-Chief.
