In January 2026, Ukraine exported 5 million tonnes of agri-food products, which is 0.8% less than in December of the previous year.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UCAB).
“There is an increase in grain exports and a decrease in all other types of products. The main product being exported now is corn,” the report states.
In January 2026, 3.4 million tonnes of grains were exported (corn – 83%, wheat – 16%), which is 13% more than in December 2025.
At the same time, other crops showed the opposite trend. In particular, Ukraine reduced oilseed shipments by 32% compared to the previous month, exporting 351.7 thousand tonnes (soy – 63%, rapeseed – 35%, sunflower – 1%).
Exports of vegetable oils fell by 6% in January, totaling 479.7 thousand tonnes (sunflower oil – 82%, soybean – 7%, rapeseed – 10%).
After oil extraction, 411 thousand tonnes of oilcakes were exported (sunflower – 73%, soybean – 27%), which is 32% less than in December.
Exports of other types of agri-food products also declined by 15%, reaching 349.9 thousand tonnes.
