The parties agreed to strengthen defense cooperation, particularly in the field of unmanned systems, and to maintain a continuous exchange of experience in responding to security challenges.
“Estonia continues to support our energy sector — its contribution to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund has already exceeded €2.6 million. At the same time, Ukraine is ready to share its own experience in energy decentralization and managing the system under difficult conditions,” Svyrydenko noted.

She described Estonia as a reliable ally on Ukraine’s path toward the European Union and expressed gratitude for its support of the EU loan provided to Ukraine. Senior officials from both countries also discussed further increasing pressure on Russia, including work on the 21st sanctions package and efforts to counter the shadow fleet.
Special attention was given to the Bring Kids Back UA initiative aimed at returning Ukrainian children who were illegally deported to Russia.
Svyrydenko also recalled that Estonia became the first country whose parliament ratified the agreement on establishing a Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine. Work is also underway on creating a compensation mechanism.
“Thank you for your participation in Ukraine’s reconstruction and for the projects already underway in the Zhytomyr region. Ahead of us is the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk, where we will expand our cooperation,” the Prime Minister of Ukraine said.
