The Ministries of Defense of Ukraine and Denmark are launching a joint project to modernize one of the training centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on Facebook following a meeting with his Danish counterpart, Troels Lund Poulsen.
Fedorov thanked Poulsen for his visit to Ukraine on the fourth anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
“Today, together with Denmark and the ‘Come Back Alive’ Foundation, we are launching an infrastructure project to modernize one of the training centers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Denmark will invest around €33 million in training infrastructure, living and sanitary conditions, equipment, and drones for training. The ‘Come Back Alive’ Foundation, which systematically invests in the training and preparation of servicemen, is the implementing partner,” Fedorov said.

The project involves a comprehensive upgrade of the infrastructure of one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ training centers.
This will enhance living comfort and safety for servicemen undergoing training at the center, Fedorov emphasized.
“Our goal in achieving the objectives of the war is to transform the system of training Ukrainian servicemen. High-quality training means reduced losses and increased effectiveness. Modernizing the training center is one of the first steps toward this,” the defense minister stated.

Fedorov thanked the Danish Ministry of Defense and the “Come Back Alive” Foundation, noting that “this is an example of strategically enhancing the capabilities for training military personnel in Ukraine with the support of our partners.”
