From the morning of March 5 to the morning of March 6, Russian forces launched more than 100 attacks across 32 settlements in 17 territorial communities of Sumy region, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported on Facebook. Authorities confirmed there were no casualties. The heaviest shelling occurred in Sumy and Shostka districts, with Russian forces using mortars, artillery, multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS), FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs.
Damage was reported in several communities: private homes were hit in Shostka, Seredyno-Buda, and Velykopysariv communities; infrastructure and non-residential buildings were damaged in Sadivska, Trostianetska, and Konotopska communities; vehicles were damaged in Bilopil and Sumy communities; and non-residential structures in Popivska and Yunakivska communities. Local authorities, together with the State Emergency Service, National Police, and civil organizations, evacuated four residents from border areas.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian strikes with drones and artillery hit Nikopol, Kryvyi Rih, and Synelnykove districts, injuring three people, including a child, Ukrainian authorities reported. Nikopol, Pokrovska, and Myrivska communities saw extensive damage to infrastructure, administrative buildings, shops, a hair salon, more than 20 residential buildings, and vehicles. Three civilians—a 15-year-old girl, a 66-year-old man, and a 55-year-old woman—were treated as outpatients. Fires broke out in Kryvyi Rih, affecting residential buildings, a lyceum, an enterprise, and other infrastructure. In Vasylkivka community, two private houses were destroyed and two others damaged. Local officials reported that all emergency services responded promptly, and residents from damaged apartments were evacuated.
In Kherson region, Russian attacks left one person dead and four injured, according to the regional administration. Settlements including Beryslav, Bilozerka, Dudhchany, Shyroka Balka, Stanyslav, Novodmytrivka, Pyatykhatky, Zolota Balka, Antonivka, Vesele, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Komyshany, Lvove, Mykilske, Pridniprovsk, Sadove, Tokarivka, Tyahynka, Chervonyi Maiak, Yantarne, Oleksandrivka, Sofiivka, Veletenske, Burgunka, Kachkarivka, Novokairy, and the city of Kherson came under drone, air, and artillery strikes. Russian forces damaged three apartment buildings, five private houses, and multiple vehicles.
In Zaporizhzhia region, Russian forces carried out 642 attacks across 33 settlements, the regional military administration reported. This included 19 airstrikes and 349 drone attacks (mostly FPV drones) targeting settlements including Zaporizhzhia, Novomykolaivka, Novooleksandrivka, Antonivka, Yurivka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Lukianivske, Mali Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohirya, Myrne, Zelene, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, and Pryluky. Four MLRS strikes hit Yurivka, Zaliznychne, Novodanylivka, and Myrne, while 270 artillery strikes targeted Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Lukianivske, Mali Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohirya, Zelene, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, and Pryluky. Authorities reported 60 incidents of damage to homes and infrastructure, with no casualties.
In Kharkiv region, Russian attacks targeted the regional capital and ten surrounding settlements. Authorities reported no casualties. The strikes involved four KAB munitions, eight Geran-2 drones, two FPV drones, and 22 additional UAVs. In Kharkiv city, the Industrialnyi and Kyivskyi districts were hit by drones. Bogodukhiv district suffered damage to a farm in Zolochiv and local power lines; a private home was hit in Berezivka, Kupiansk district. Railway infrastructure was damaged in Manchenky, Kharkiv district, and in Chuhuiv. In Chuhuiv district, windows were broken in a multi-apartment building in Malynivka, and two private homes and an outbuilding were damaged in Pechenihy.
