Another 51.2524 hectares of land in the Mykolaiv region have been officially cleared of mines by NIBULON and are being returned to safe use. Certificates transferring responsibility for the territories cleared of explosive ordnance have been issued by the Mine Action Centre.
The certificates provide official confirmation that demining work on these areas has been completed.
The territories cleared by NIBULON belong to a farm in the Mykolaiv region. Clearance operations were carried out in 2025 and lasted around eight months.
For NIBULON, demining land in frontline regions has a particular importance. Returning agricultural land to productive economic use is an important condition for the resilience and recovery of these territories.
In total, the area of land cleared by NIBULON has already exceeded 7,600 hectares. Since the beginning of 2026, the company’s demining unit has cleared around 100 hectares of farmland in the Kharkiv region of explosive ordnance.
In summer 2026, NIBULON also received certification to conduct demining operations in water areas. The company is now officially authorised to survey and clear explosive ordnance not only on land but also in rivers, lakes, reservoirs and coastal areas.
