The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported strikes on air defense and radar assets, logistics facilities, command posts, drone workshops, and a command-and-observation post on occupied territory of Ukraine and on the territory of the Russian Federation.
“Yesterday and during the night of April 29, units of Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out a series of strikes on Russian occupation forces’ targets. In particular, important elements of the enemy’s air defense and radar systems were hit. At the ‘Kacha’ airfield (temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea), the MR-10 radar station, an air defense command post, and the ground-based radar interrogator ‘Parol-4’ (1L22) were damaged. A ‘Tor’ surface-to-air missile system was also struck in the area of Tykhonivka in the Zaporizhzhia region,” the General Staff said in a Telegram statement.
According to the military, logistics facilities of the Russian forces were also hit, including an ammunition depot near Pervomaiske and the TES fuel storage facility in Simferopol in temporarily occupied Crimea.
“A separate focus remains weakening the enemy’s unmanned aerial vehicle control system. UAV command posts were struck in the areas of Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, and Tykhonivka in Zaporizhzhia region; Bondarivske, Komar, and the village of Zaporizhzhia in Donetsk region; as well as Tetkino in Kursk region of the Russian Federation. UAV workshops belonging to enemy units were also hit in the areas of Bondarivske in Donetsk region and Burchak in Zaporizhzhia region,” the General Staff noted.
In addition, Ukrainian units struck a Russian command-and-observation post in the Pokrovsk area of Donetsk region.
Losses of the Russian forces and the extent of the damage are being clarified.
