The number of people killed in a Russian overnight strike on the city of Dnipro has risen to three, regional authorities said, as rescue operations continued at the site of a heavily damaged residential building.
According to Dnipropetrovsk regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha, rescuers recovered the body of another victim from a high-rise building hit during the attack, bringing the death toll to three.
The number of injured has also increased to ten. Four people have been hospitalized in moderate condition, including two girls aged 9 and 14. Earlier reports had indicated nine injured.
The strike caused significant damage to a 13-storey residential building, as well as a shop, vehicles, an administrative building, and an unused structure.

Hanzha added that Russian forces carried out more than 20 drone attacks across three districts of the region overnight.
In the Nikopol district, shelling hit several communities, including Nikopol, Myrivska, Marhanetska, Pokrovska, and Chervonohryhorivska. Infrastructure, a private home, and a garage were damaged, and a 64-year-old woman was injured. She will receive outpatient treatment.
In the city of Kryvyi Rih, the attack sparked a fire and caused damage to infrastructure, local officials said.
