Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine have struck the Russian “shadow fleet” tanker WEST Horizon in the waters of the Black Sea.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On the night of June 10, the Defense Forces also struck a number of important targets belonging to Russia’s military-industrial and fuel-and-energy complex.
In the Republic of Chuvashia, the VNIIR-Progress plant in Cheboksary was hit. The target was confirmed to have been struck, and a fire broke out on the premises.
The strike was carried out by personnel of the missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Ground Forces using FP-5 “Flamingo” missiles. The distance from the nearest active combat zone in Ukraine to the target is over 900 km.

The enterprise is one of the key manufacturers of navigation equipment for Russia’s precision weapons. The plant produces satellite navigation receivers and “Kometa” antennas used in Shahed (“Geran-2”) attack drones, Kalibr cruise missiles, Iskander-M operational-tactical missile systems, as well as unified modules for planning and correction of aerial bombs.
In Samara, the Kuibyshev oil refinery was also struck, with a fire confirmed on the site.
The Kuibyshev refinery is one of the largest oil refining facilities in Russia’s Samara group. Its annual processing capacity is about 3.7 million tons of crude oil.
The plant produces gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, and other petroleum products used to support Russia’s military-industrial complex and armed forces.
