The ambassadors of the Group of Seven countries (the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Canada, the United States, France, and Japan) have stated that they are continuing their work in Ukraine despite Russia's threats to strike Kyiv.
This was stated in a message published on social network X.
As noted, this morning G7 country representatives held a meeting with representatives of international business associations in Ukraine to discuss ways of improving the business and investment climate in the country.
"Despite Russian threats, all G7 countries are staying in Kyiv and will continue their work to support Ukraine!" the ambassadors emphasized.
On May 25, Russia's Foreign Ministry issued a statement of propagandistic nature, claiming that Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, acting on Vladimir Putin's instructions, warned U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio during a phone call of Moscow's intention to continue strikes on Kyiv and "advised" him to evacuate diplomatic personnel.
The European Union summoned the Russian chargé d'affaires following Moscow's threats, in which it stated that Western diplomats in Kyiv could be put at risk by forthcoming massive strikes.
