Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, leading the Ukrainian delegation, will participate in the 62nd Munich Security Conference (MSC), which this year will take place from February 13 to 15.
“We are honored to confirm that President Zelensky will return to Munich and lead the Ukrainian delegation,” MSC stated on its social media account X on Wednesday.

It is noted that, on behalf of his country, Zelensky will also receive the Ewald von Kleist Award, dedicated to the brave Ukrainian people.
Earlier, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, whose speech will open the conference, announced plans to meet with the Ukrainian president at MSC.
Additionally, MSC has already announced the participation of the largest-ever U.S. delegation, which includes over a quarter of the members of the U.S. Senate. U.S. Secretary of State Mark Rubio will also attend, before traveling to Budapest and Bratislava, while Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will come to Munich from Budapest.
Among the guests at this year’s conference will be the presidents of France, the Czech Republic, Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia, and Colombia, as well as the prime ministers of Canada, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Estonia.
It is expected that more than 1,000 participants from over 115 countries will attend the Munich Security Conference this year, including around 60 heads of state and government. According to the organizers, more than two-thirds of all European heads of state and government have already confirmed their participation.
Furthermore, over 50 leaders of international organizations will take part—more than ever before—including the heads of the EU, NATO, ASEAN, the OSCE, the World Bank, the World Trade Organization, and numerous UN agencies.
