The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has released information about a new Russian cruise missile, the “Izdelie-30,” as well as details on 20 enterprises involved in its production cooperation.

This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate.

On the “Components in Weapons” section of the War&Sanctions portal, an interactive 3D model, key parts, and components of the missile have been published.

The missile has a wingspan of about 3 meters, a warhead weighing 800 kg, and a minimum operational range of 1,500 km. The first recorded uses of the new missile against Ukraine occurred at the end of last year. Based on its markings and structural features, the missile has been identified as a design from OKB “Zvezda,” part of the Tactical Missile Armament Corporation.

Certain technical solutions are standardized with other products from this developer and the corporation as a whole.

For example, the pyrovacuum valve in the pneumatic system is identical to elements of the Kh-35U missile, and the aircraft catapult device is similar to the AKU-5M systems used for missiles such as the Kh-101, Kh-55, and Kh-555.

The satellite navigation system, likely for the first time in a Russian cruise missile, combines components from two different Russian companies: a jam-resistant satellite signal receiver with a digital antenna array “Kometa-M12” produced by VNII Progress, and a receiver-computing unit from KB Navis, based on the NAVIS NR9 receiver.

For integration, a coupling unit manufactured by ANPP “Temp-Avia” is used, a company known for producing flight controllers for guided aerial bombs.

All three components of the navigation system contain parts from foreign manufacturers, including the USA, Switzerland, China, and the Netherlands.

The separate electronic warhead control unit BUBS-30 is built on a Russian electronic base. Its key component is a 32-bit ARM 1986VE1AT microcontroller produced by the Russian company PKK “Milandr.”
