The 58th season of Ukrainian Fashion Week, FW26–27, is set to open later this week in Kyiv, highlighting innovation and sustainability in Ukrainian design. This season positions fashion as a space where responsibility and awareness merge with creative energy.
For nearly three decades, Ukrainian Fashion Week has been the country’s leading platform for new ideas, values, and trends. Despite the challenges of full-scale war, Ukrainian brands have maintained their teams, grown their businesses, and adopted innovative approaches, strengthening the national fashion ecosystem.
FW26–27 will feature 50 events, including runway shows, presentations, a tradeshow, Re-See sessions, and a lecture program. The season will be covered on social media by six industry insiders, including fashion influencers Ivanka Khoma, Alisa Fetisova, Nastia Poberezhna, and Anna Pohribniak, as well as producer and LGBTQ+ activist Volodymyr Zavaduk. Kateryna Popova, former editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar Ukraine and ELLE Ukraine, will also provide coverage as guest editor of the Ukrainian Fashion Week Telegram channel, highlighting key events and behind-the-scenes moments.

A new feature this season is the Re-See format at Mystetskyi Arsenal, allowing media, buyers, and guests to examine brand collections in detail after each show. This format emphasizes materials, design decisions, and craftsmanship, offering a closer look beyond the runway experience.
Ukrainian Fashion Week continues to demonstrate that fashion is not only about style but also about resilience, responsibility, and unity. FW26–27 serves as a symbol of the nation’s strength and its belief in the future, showing that creativity and innovation can thrive even in the most challenging times.
