Ukraine continues to work on expanding the geographical reach of its exports, including opening three new export markets for domestic producers to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
This was reported by the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
“The opening of three new export routes for cattle to Algeria is an important result of the systematic work of the State Service. Overall, since the beginning of the year, five new markets have already been opened for Ukrainian animal products, creating additional opportunities for domestic producers and strengthening Ukraine’s position in international trade,” emphasized Serhiy Tkachuk, head of the State Service.
Specifically, this involves the approval of three types of veterinary certificates: for the export of beef cattle to Algeria, breeding cattle, and cattle for fattening.
The opening of these export directions is an important step in deepening trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Algeria and confirms that Ukrainian products meet the veterinary requirements of the importing country.
