The Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 (URC 2026), taking place on June 25–26 in Gdańsk, Poland, is set to become one of the key international platforms for attracting investments, developing partnerships, and promoting practical solutions for Ukraine’s reconstruction. The preparation process for the Conference and the importance of involving the business community in URC 2026 were discussed during a meeting with representatives of leading business associations, chaired by Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture Denys Bashlyk.
Business associations representing companies in construction, agriculture and agribusiness, energy, defense industry, technology, entrepreneurship, and international trade participated in the discussion. The broad format of the meeting allowed associations, which play a crucial role in ensuring proper representation of Ukrainian companies at URC 2026, to come together on a single platform.
This year, URC 2026 places special emphasis on business, investment, and financial solutions for economic recovery. For this reason, the business dimension will be central to the conference program and feature the largest number of panel discussions. For Ukraine, it is an opportunity not only to outline reconstruction priorities but also to ensure meaningful participation of companies in the international dialogue on new projects, production, infrastructure, and economic growth.
Around 1,000 companies are expected to take part in URC 2026: one-third Ukrainian, one-third Polish, and one-third international.
Particular attention during the meeting was given to the Business Fair, an exhibition within URC that will be the largest in its history this year. Companies will have the opportunity to present their projects, solutions, and investment opportunities to an international audience. A total of 250 companies will participate in the fair, including 80 Ukrainian companies. For domestic businesses, this is a real chance to directly connect with international partners, investors, and potential clients, showcasing their achievements on one of the key platforms dedicated to Ukraine’s reconstruction.
Companies from defense, energy, infrastructure, logistics, industrial production, agriculture and food, IT, medical technology, construction, and other sectors are invited to take part in the Business Fair. Applications are open until April 24.
“Our goal is to ensure that Ukrainian business participation in URC 2026 delivers practical results. It’s not just about representing Ukraine, but about creating new partnerships, attracting investments, securing contracts, and implementing solutions that contribute to economic recovery today. That’s why we involve business associations in the preparation process at an early stage, so Ukrainian companies are well represented, visible, and competitive,” said Deputy Minister Denys Bashlyk.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed on the next steps to prepare Ukrainian businesses for participation in URC 2026. Business association representatives received information about participation conditions, key deadlines, and engagement formats, which will help promptly communicate these opportunities to a wider group of companies.
