Russian attacks continue across Ukraine, killing and injuring civilians

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out extensive attacks across Ukraine, targeting civilian areas, infrastructure, and residential communities, causing multiple casualties and widespread damage.

Sumy Region

Russian forces carried out over 90 strikes on 25 settlements across 11 territorial communities, injuring four people.​​​​​​

  • In the Sumy community, two women aged 58 and 87 suffered acute stress reactions due to a drone attack.
  • In Velyka Pysarivka, a 41-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man were wounded in a drone strike.
  • The Sumy and Shostka districts saw the highest number of attacks.
  • Weapons used included artillery, MLRS, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs.
  • Damage included private homes, outbuildings, vehicles, agricultural machinery, and civilian infrastructure in Seredyna-Buda, Znob-Novhorodske, Bilopillia, and Sumy communities.

Zaporizhzhia Region

Russian forces carried out 808 strikes on 39 settlements, including Malokaterynivka, Huliaipilske, Komyshuvakha, Orikhiv, and Zaporizhzhia city.

  • In Komyshuvakha, a house was destroyed, injuring two girls aged 9 and 15; neighboring buildings were damaged by the blast.
  • The attacks involved 20 airstrikes, 574 UAV strikes (mostly FPV drones), 7 MLRS strikes, and 207 artillery strikes.
  • Reports included damage to residential homes, vehicles, and civilian infrastructure in multiple districts.

Dnipropetrovsk Region

Attacks targeted Kryvyi Rih, Synelnykove, and Nikopol districts.​​​​​​​

  • In Kryvyi Rih district, the city and Apostolove were hit, damaging a transport enterprise.
  • In Synelnykove district, two private homes were destroyed, four more were damaged, and a 55-year-old man was killed under the rubble in Pokrovske community.
  • In Nikopol district, a five-story residential building was damaged.
  • Weapons included drones, artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, and aerial bombs.

Kherson Region

Four civilians were killed and five others injured as Russian forces carried out drone, air, and artillery strikes.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

  • Settlements affected included Kherson city, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Komyshany, Molodizhne, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Chervone, and Vesele, among others.
  • Damage included five apartment buildings, six private houses, and private vehicles.

Donetsk Region

One person was killed in Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka.

Total reported casualties in Donetsk region now stand at 4,065 killed and 8,947 injured (excluding Mariupol and Volnovakha).

Mykolaiv Region

Russian forces carried out a ballistic missile strike on the Voznesensk district, reportedly with an Iskander-M missile; no casualties were reported.

FPV drone attacks targeted Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities four times, also causing no casualties.

Kharkiv Region

Russian forces attacked Kharkiv city and nine other settlements, injuring six people.

  • In Kharkiv, three women aged 75, 69, and 53 suffered acute stress reactions.
  • In Vilschany (Solonytsivka community), a 71-year-old woman and 75-year-old man were stressed.
  • In Husynka (Kindrashivka community), a 74-year-old man was wounded.
  • Russia used two guided aerial bombs, eight Geran-2 drones, two Molniya drones, one FPV drone, and 33 UAVs of other types.
  • In Kharkiv city, attacks struck the Kyivskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Saltivskyi districts, damaging a multi-story building, three dormitories, windows in a children’s hospital and a store, a park, and an administrative building.
  • In Zolochiv (Bohodukhiv district), power lines, a school, and a cemetery were damaged.
  • In Kupiansk district (Hrushivka), a hotel was damaged; in Husynka, a private house was hit.
  • In Izium district (Yaremivka), a car was damaged.
  • In Vilschany, four private houses and a car were damaged.
