President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia plans to further deploy ground-based control stations for long-range drones both in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and in Belarus.

The head of the Ukrainian state announced this following a report by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Oleh Ivashchenko.

“We have clear information that Russia plans to further deploy ground-based control stations for long-range drones both in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and four stations in Belarus. We will respond accordingly. I have instructed Oleh Ivashchenko to inform partners and media representatives about the data that we can make public,” he wrote.

At the same time, the President said that Ukraine has indisputable evidence that Russia continues to provide intelligence information to the Iranian regime.

“Russia uses its own capabilities in signals and electronic intelligence, as well as some data obtained through cooperation with partners in the Middle East,” he noted.

The head of state also emphasized that the Defence Intelligence regularly provides assessments of the situation on the front and internal Russian information regarding battlefield activity.

“Russian command constantly tries to exaggerate the achievements of its forces on the front line and later use such inflated data by the headquarters of the Russian occupation grouping in the negotiation process,” Zelenskyy wrote.
