In Lviv on Thursday, June 18, an agreement was signed during the Norwegian-Ukrainian Business Forum to establish Norway Desk, an office dedicated to attracting and supporting Norwegian businesses.
Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi announced the development on Telegram.
“There will be a Norway Desk office in Lviv to attract and support Norwegian business. The agreement on its establishment was signed today during the Norwegian-Ukrainian Business Forum,” Sadovyi said.
He noted that the new initiative will help Norwegian companies find partners in Ukraine, while also assisting Ukrainian businesses in entering the Norwegian market.
The Norwegian-Ukrainian Business Forum brought together a large number of business representatives, government officials, and investors from Norway in Lviv.
Sadovyi added that Norway Desk is the second office of its kind in the city. The first was Japan Desk, which was established to promote cooperation between Ukraine and Japan.
“It is important for us that more and more international partners see Lviv not only as a safe place to do business, but also as a gateway to Ukraine and a platform for new investment and cooperation,” the mayor emphasized.
