Over 2,000 civilians still remain in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, and evacuating them is nearly impossible.
This was reported on live TV by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
“Kostiantynivka is an extremely difficult city. More than 2,000 people are still there. At the moment, it is almost impossible for police units, government authorities, emergency services, or charitable organizations to enter and evacuate them,” said the regional head.

He noted that evacuations from the city are only possible thanks to Ukrainian Armed Forces units.
“For example, yesterday, the soldiers from the 28th Brigade evacuated an injured person. They did a great job. But it is very difficult, extremely challenging to do,” Filashkin stated.
He added that delivering humanitarian aid to the city is also nearly impossible because the enemy controls all access routes. The situation is very complicated, with both FPV drones and fiber-optic surveillance in place.
