Ground robotic systems conduct 24,500 missions on frontline

The Defense Forces continue to increase the use of ground robotic systems (GRS) instead of soldiers wherever possible in the most challenging conditions. This is evidenced by data from the DELTA combat system.

In March, ground GRS performed over 9,000 combat and logistical tasks on the frontline. For comparison, in November last year, there were over 2,900 such missions, and in January 2026 – over 7,500.

Overall, during the first three months of this year, the robots completed about 24,500 tasks. They currently perform a wide variety of frontline duties: delivering ammunition, providing logistics, and evacuating the wounded.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine prioritizes maximizing the transfer of frontline logistics to GRS to reduce risks for defenders. In March, 167 units used ground robotic systems for various missions. By comparison, in November 2025, there were 67 units.

During the past month, the Top 5 units in terms of points earned for completed GRS missions were:

  • 3rd Separate Assault Brigade
  • 1st Separate Medical Battalion
  • Unmanned Systems Company of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade
  • 95th Separate Airborne Assault Polissya Brigade
  • 3rd Operational Purpose Brigade named after Colonel Petro Bolbochan “Spartan”

As previously reported by the Ministry of Defense, the DELTA combat system has expanded its tracking of GRS mission results. Units can plan logistical and evacuation missions within the system. After completion, results are verified, and the system automatically generates a report and calculates points based on defined parameters.

On the Brave1 Market platform, a range of ground robotic systems is available that units can acquire using combat points—quickly, transparently, and according to the real needs of the frontline.

Within the Drone Army Program, soldiers earn points for drone strikes, reconnaissance, and GRS missions. Recently, additional categories were added, such as sniping, mobile-fire groups, and army aviation.

The more targets destroyed, the more points are awarded. This provides direct motivation and enables units to be reinforced with new technologies.

Through the Brave1 Market weapons marketplace, units can exchange points for drones, GRS, electronic warfare equipment, and components.
