Within the framework of the Tallinn Mechanism, Finland has allocated €1 million to strengthen Ukraine’s cyber domain.
This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
“Finland supports Ukraine within the Tallinn Mechanism—a joint international initiative coordinating assistance from 14 countries to strengthen cyber resilience. The €1 million will be directed toward protecting civilian and critical infrastructure in cyberspace,” the statement said.
It is noted that specific funded projects will be approved within the next few months. The main focus will be on long-term initiatives to enhance the cyber capabilities of Ukrainian state institutions, as well as educational programs.
“Within the Tallinn Mechanism, more than 25 projects are already being implemented to strengthen the cyber resilience of Ukrainian government bodies and critical infrastructure. We thank all partners for their consistent support and assistance to our digital state,” the ministry added.
