Bucha’s KIT industrial park grows with new production companies

Bucha’s KIT industrial park grows with new production companies
Article top vertical

The industrial park “KIT” in Bucha, Kyiv region, confidently occupies a very interesting business niche—a hub for the development of small, ambitious manufacturers. The park already hosts a small producer of printing materials, Fres.Co, and now has attracted two more companies of a similar scale.

This was reported by Dmytro Kysylevskyi, Deputy Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development.

The new park residents are the contract cosmetics manufacturer Pilab and the cocoa bean processor Kakao+. This brings the total number of park residents to five. In addition to the three mentioned companies, the park hosts a logistics center of Nova Poshta and the computer equipment distributor EDG Group.

Pilab invested UAH 16 million to launch its new production facility in the industrial park. The enterprise currently employs 20 workers. Planned production volumes include over 10 tons per month of creams, emulsions, and lotions, and 2 tons per month of decorative cosmetics. The company develops its products in its own laboratory. Pilab operates as a contract manufacturer, producing goods for clients who develop their own cosmetic brands. Clients include companies from Ukraine, Moldova, Poland, the UK, UAE, USA, and Canada.

Kakao+ invested UAH 3.2 million to launch its new production in the industrial park and has planned investments for 2026 totaling UAH 4.5 million. The company is currently completing the setup of production lines, network connections, and staffing for 10 workers. Planned production volumes are 1.8 tons of finished products per month, including roasted and ground cocoa beans, cocoa mixes, drip coffee, and drinking chocolate. New product lines are under development, including post-fermentation cocoa products in Ukrainian fruits such as apples, grapes, strawberries, and peaches.

Industrial Park “KIT” has so far built 2 phases of warehouse and production facilities out of the planned 11. Land works are currently underway for the 3rd phase. To develop engineering and transport infrastructure, the park secured UAH 150 million in state funding. Additionally, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reimbursed UAH 0.5 million for project work. The Bucha city council exempted the industrial park from land tax, allowing the managing company to save UAH 3.4 million per year.
