The counterintelligence department of the Security Service of Ukraine detained another FSB agent in Odessa. The suspect was directing Russian missile and drone strikes against the energy infrastructure of the port city.

According to case materials, her main task was to locate and pass on the coordinates of transformer substations in residential districts, as well as high-voltage facilities supplying power to the regional center.

The detainee is a 48-year-old unemployed local resident who was recruited by Russian forces through a Telegram channel advertising “easy money.”

In exchange for promises of “quick side earnings,” the agent traveled around the city by public transport, using her smartphone to record the locations of energy facilities.

She also walked around the perimeter of electrical substations to identify damage and assess their technical condition after recent shelling.

The collected information was sent via messenger to her FSB handler. In particular, in addition to photos marked on Google Maps, she “reported” on the stages of restoration work at the facilities.

SSU officers detained the agent at her place of residence after she returned from a reconnaissance outing and was preparing a “report” for her handler in Russia.

During searches, two mobile phones were seized from the suspect, which she had used to collect intelligence and communicate with the FSB.

SSU investigators served her with a notice of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).

The suspect is currently in custody. She faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
