In Brussels, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen.

The leaders discussed in detail the threats of Russian escalation, particularly against Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

“It is clear that Russia has taken signals about easing sanctions as a green light to continue waging war against residential buildings, substations, and any other infrastructure that sustains normal life. Right now, it is critically important for everyone in Europe to mobilize to strengthen protection against this brutal terror ahead of winter,” Volodymyr Zelensky noted.

The President emphasized that Ukraine’s top priority is air defense, first and foremost anti-ballistic defense and everything that helps intercept jet-powered “shaheds.”

Volodymyr Zelensky and Mette Frederiksen also discussed how Denmark can help provide financial support for Ukraine’s resilience. They agreed that their teams would continue working at their level.

The President thanked the Prime Minister for the fact that Ukraine can always count on Denmark.
