Russian forces carried out widespread attacks across several Ukrainian regions over the past day, injuring civilians and damaging homes, infrastructure, and public facilities, according to regional authorities.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian troops launched 899 strikes on 44 settlements within 24 hours, regional governor Ivan Fedorov said. Three people were injured in attacks on the city of Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding district.

The strikes included 18 air attacks on several communities, including Komyshuvakha, Veselianka, Tavriiske, and Huliaipole. Russian forces also launched 679 drones—mostly FPV models—targeting settlements such as Zaporizhzhia, Kushuhum, Orikhiv, and Huliaipole. In addition, eight attacks were carried out using multiple launch rocket systems, while 194 artillery strikes hit a range of towns and villages across the region.

Authorities received 53 reports of damage to residential buildings, infrastructure, and vehicles.

In the Kherson region, 11 people were injured as Russian forces carried out drone attacks, airstrikes, and artillery shelling across dozens of settlements, regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin said. Areas under attack included Antonivka, Bilozerka, Beryslav, Nova Kamianka, and the regional center, Kherson.

The attacks damaged 20 private houses, a warehouse, an outbuilding, and several vehicles.

Russian forces also carried out nearly 20 strikes across the Dnipropetrovsk region, targeting the Dnipro, Synelnykove, Kamianske, Nikopol, and Kryvyi Rih districts, according to regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha. The attacks involved artillery, drones, guided aerial bombs, and a missile.

In the Synelnykove district, several fires broke out in the Pokrovske community, destroying two private houses, a garage, and an outbuilding, while four more homes were damaged. In the Kamianske district, a strike damaged an enterprise, houses, and vehicles, leaving a 59-year-old woman injured. In the Nikopol district, attacks damaged a cultural center, apartment buildings, and a car, while a 51-year-old man was wounded.

In the Donetsk region, Russian attacks on March 12 killed two civilians and injured six others, regional governor Vadym Filashkin said. One person was killed in Kostiantynivka and another in Lyman, while six people were wounded in Druzhkivka.

According to regional authorities, the total number of civilian casualties in the region since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion has reached 4,083 people killed and 9,025 injured, excluding figures from the cities of Mariupol and Volnovakha.

Meanwhile, in the Mykolaiv region, Russian forces attacked the city of Mykolaiv with a Shahed-type drone, targeting a transport infrastructure facility. According to regional authorities, two private houses and the roof of an educational institution were also damaged. No casualties were reported.

In Kharkiv region, six people were injured in strikes on 14 settlements, according to governor Oleh Syniehubov. The attacks involved rockets, guided bombs, and drones. Damage included private homes, vehicles, a municipal car, a farm, and industrial buildings. Several residents suffered acute stress reactions, and medics treated others for earlier injuries.

In Sumy region, nearly 120 attacks hit 40 settlements, killing two people and injuring another, officials said. Homes, farms, vehicles, and civil infrastructure were damaged. Local authorities evacuated 54 residents.

The strikes underscore the ongoing risks to civilians and the challenges of maintaining infrastructure and safety in affected regions.
