That night, long-range drones of the SSU’s Alpha Special Operations Center successfully struck components of Russian air defense at the Belbek military airfield in occupied Crimea.
As a result of precise hits by Ukrainian drones, the following were destroyed:
- two Nebo-SVU long-range radar detection systems (each priced at nearly $60–100 million);
- a 92N6 radar, a component of the S-400 Triumf surface-to-air missile system (estimated at $30 million for the domestic market and $60 million for export);
- a Pantsir-S2 air defense missile system (estimated at $12 million for the domestic market and $19 million for export);
- a MiG-31 aircraft with a full combat load (estimated at $30–50 million depending on configuration and armament).

The SSU continues its effective efforts to destroy air defense systems in Crimea that protect key military and logistical facilities of the Russian forces. Eliminating elements of this layered system significantly weakens the enemy’s defenses and military capabilities in the Crimean direction.
