Military counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine has detained another FSB agent in Chernihiv. The suspect was preparing coordinates for a new series of Russian air attacks on Ukraine’s northern region.

During her arrest, the woman attempted to delete messages with her handler and destroy her smartphone to eliminate evidence.

According to case materials, the suspect is a 39-year-old local resident who drew the Russian attention through Telegram channels offering “easy earnings.”

After recruitment, she was sent to the Kyiv region, where she attempted to locate and transmit geolocations of airfields with combat helicopters to the Russian forces.

The investigation found that the FSB provided her with a “route sheet” containing approximate addresses of potential military sites for reconnaissance. However, it did not include any actual coordinates of Ukrainian Defense Forces positions.

When she failed to find defense facilities at the provided locations, she returned to Chernihiv to help adjust Russian air attacks on local military commissariats.

Following FSB instructions, she rented an apartment in a nine-story building near the military commissariat and installed a remote-access phone camera on the windowsill to monitor the site.

The Russians intended to track when the largest number of conscripts were present in order to strike them with missiles.

SSU officers documented the agent’s crimes step by step and secured the Defense Forces’ locations in her reconnaissance zone. During the final stage of the special operation, she was arrested in her safehouse.

The SSU investigators have charged her under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (state treason committed under martial law).

The suspect is held in custody without the possibility of bail and faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
