For March 2026, Russian oil losses due to Ukraine’s long-range strikes are estimated at at least $2.3 billion.

This was stated in an address by President Volodymyr Zelensky, published on the presidential website.

“Unfortunately, there is yet another decision by the United States to weaken oil sanctions. There will be no real benefit for diplomacy from this, and every dollar from oil only encourages Russia to continue the war. But even with this money, they still won’t solve their problems. Our long-range ‘sanctions’ continue to work—I am grateful to all our warriors for their precision,” Zelensky noted.

According to him, in March alone, Russian oil losses from Ukrainian long-range actions are estimated at no less than $2.3 billion.

“This is just one month. Now, in April, we are continuing. I want to especially commend the 1st Separate Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 98th Reconnaissance Center of the Special Operations Forces, the 19th Missile Brigade, the 360th Separate Coastal Missile Brigade, and our special services: the Security Service of Ukraine and our intelligence—everyone who is working to reduce Russia’s capabilities and increase our security—the security of Ukraine,” Zelensky emphasized.

He added that he had a conversation with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi:

“We will continue our long-range sanctions against Russia for this war.”
