A Russian ballistic missile strike on Odessa region hit a civilian infrastructure facility on Monday, killing two people and injuring another, according to regional governor Oleh Kiper.
"According to preliminary information, two people were killed and one was injured," Kiper said, expressing condolences to the families of the victims.
The attack also set several vehicles on fire, including trucks, passenger cars, and a route minibus. Emergency services managed to contain the blaze and continue working at the scene.
Authorities are assessing the full extent of the damage as rescue and recovery operations remain underway.

Two people were killed and five people were injured. All of the injured are adult men and have been hospitalized, with three of them in serious condition.

As a result of the Russian strike on Odessa region, the death toll has risen to four people. Seven people were injured, six of whom were hospitalized, including two in critical condition.
In addition to an infrastructure facility, the strike hit a gas station, causing a route minibus and a fuel pump to catch fire.
